TROY, N.Y. – ECAC Hockey has announced its weekly award winners from men's hockey and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) student-athlete Ture Linden has been named Driscoll Skating & Skills Player of the Week.

A senior captain from Great Falls, Va., Linden paced the Engineers offensively last week, scoring three goals and assisting on another for four points. Compiling a +2 rating, he netted one power-play goal and one game-winning tally, while registering nine shots on goal.

Linden, who was nominated for the 2022 Hobey Baker Award, leads the Engineers with 32 points on 17 goals and 15 assists. Playing all 40 games so far this season, he is a team-best +9, with 94 shots, three power play goals, two game-winners and 23 blocks at the defensive end of the ice.

The first RPI player to record 30 points in a season since Riley Bourbonnais '17 during the 2016-17 campaign, Linden has played in 110 career games for the Engineers, scoring 26 goals and assisting on 35 more for 61 points.

RPI returns to the ice this weekend, when it hosts a best-of-three ECAC Hockey First Round playoff series against Dartmouth College at the Houston Field House. Puck drop is scheduled for 7pm on Friday and Saturday, with Game 3 set for 4pm, if necessary, on Sunday.

Outside spectators will be allowed to attend, with tickets going on sale at 10am on Wednesday. Prices will be $6 for RPI students with ID and $10 for any who is not a student with valid ID, including children and seniors. External spectators will be required to show proof of vaccination and masks must be worn at all times when inside the arena.
