BOSTON, Mass. -
Morgan Lee set the school record in the mile to lead the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) women's track & field team at the multi-divisional, non team scoring David Hemery Valentine Invitational hosted by Boston University.
A senior, Lee registered a time of 4:55.91 to set the RPI record. She was 117th of 302 racers in the event, which included two others from RPI.
Jillian Lees legged out a 5:14.54 and
Olivia Reid ran a 5:19.46.
Also competing for RPI was
Emma McGuinn, who finished 11th of 57 runners in the 60 Hurdles with a time of 9.15.
Nia Goddard was 20th of 74 in the 5000 meters with a time of 17:48.44.
The Engineers had three participants in the 200 meters with
Christine Mallette pacing the trio with a time of 26.14. She was 120th of 250 runners.
Katie Manning and
Caitlin Smith also ran in the event, finishing in 26.53 and 27.37.
RPI also had a squad in the 4x400 relay, clocking a time of 4:10.50 and
Olivia Pisacano ran the 3000 meters.
