Cross Country Teams to Race Six Times in 2023

TROY, N.Y. - Coming off Liberty League titles and NCAA Championship appearances, the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) men's and women's cross country teams begin the 2023 season on September 16 when they host the inaugural RPI Harvest Classic at Pitney Meadow Community Farm in Saratoga Springs. Both squads, which are coached by John Lynch, then go on to race five more times during the regular season in their efforts to return to nationals.

    • Hosted by Dickinson at Big Red Spring High School
    • Men at 11am and women at 12pm
  • Highly-competitive Mike Woods Invitational on October 14
    • Hosted by Geneseo at National Warplane Museum
    • Men at 11am and women at 12pm
      • RPI's first appearances since 2015
  • Liberty League Championships on October 28
    • Hosted by Hobart and William Smith at Seneca Lake State Park Cross Country Course
    • Men at 11am and women at 12pm
      • Men have won six straight titles
      • Women have won two of last three championships (2022, 2019)
