Women's Hockey Finishes Weekend at No. 9 Cornell

ITHACA, N.Y.- The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) women's ice hockey team was defeated 7-0 at nationally-ranked Cornell today.

Lindzi Avar netted three goals to lead the No. 9 ranked Big Red to the ECAC victory. Avi Adam logged a multi-point effort as well with one goal and two assists.

Aylah Cioffi attempted a team-high four shots for the Engineers. Sophia Jones, Taylor Larsen, Nina Cristof, and Morgann Skoda took two shots apiece as well.

The Engineers will look ahead to next weeken'ds matchups up north, as RPI is slated for a Friday meeting at St. Lawrence before a Saturday date with Clarkson in Potsdam, N.Y.
