TROY, N.Y.- Three members of the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) field hockey team have been voted second team All-Liberty League by the conference's eight head coaches.
Freshman forward
Sophia Brown, junior midfield
Grace Johnson, and senior defender
Abby Peterson each received the honor for the Engineers.
Brown netted a team-high 11 goals in her debut season, which was tied for sixth-most in the Liberty League.
Peterson finished second on the team in both goals (7) and points (16), and also piloted an RPI defense that registered three shutouts this fall.
Johnson co-led the Engineers with five assists, in addition to scoring one goal this past season.
