TROY, N.Y.- The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) men's hockey team suffered a 6-0 defeat against #5 Maine this afternoon in Houston Field House.
Lyden Breen had three goals and one assists to led the nationally-ranked Black Bears. Charlie Russell and Frank Djurasevic had finished with one score and one assist each, and Harrison Scott provided one goal in the win.
The Black Bears manufactured a 50-16 advantage on shots on goals on the day.
Jake Gagnon and
Jeremie Payant topped the Engineers with three attempts on frame.
The Engineers will look to regroup with 3:00 pm rematch tomorrow versus the Black Bears.
