GENEVA, N.Y. - The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) women's tennis team completed their weekend Liberty League sweep, taking down William Smith by a final score of 8-1 to make it their three straight wins for the Engineers.
RPI started the match taking all three doubles courts, with the top court of
Lorna Flores Gonzalez and
Krisia Flores Gonzalez and the third court of
Prisha Rapur and
Brooke Bauer each won 8-1.
The Engineers then won five of the six singles courts, with
Lorna Flores Gonzalez taking the biggest win at No. 1 singles with a 6-0, 6-0 win.
RPI returns to action this Tuesday, April 16 as they play host to Union College in Liberty League action.
