ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. - The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) women's tennis team continued their strong play in Liberty League matchups in April, taking down Bard on Wednesday afternoon by a final score of 9-0 for their fourth straight win.
The match started with singles play, as
Prisha Rapur won at the No. 1 spot in the lineup by a final of 6-1, 6-4. The Engineers swept through the lineup, which included the first dual match victory for freshman
Liberty Rogers at No. 6 singles 6-0, 6-0.
RPI then won at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles before taking the top spot by retirement as weather moved in and settled the match.
The Engineers return to action on Saturday, April 20 when they host St. Lawrence in league play.
