TROY, NY- The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) women's lacrosse team scored its most goals of the season in today's 20-4 triumph over Liberty league rival Bard.
Audrey Silverman and
Quinn Wollard each registered three goals and two assists in the win for the Engineers. Llana McCarthy matched Silverman and Wollard with five points as well, as she scored twice in addition to leading the team with three helpers.
Kaylee Schaefer-Hood and
Molly McDonald found the back of the net three times each, while
Gabbie Valle added two strikes.
Ella Graff,
Lauren DeLeo,
Megan Shay, and
Ava Gilardone each provided a solo score as well.
Eight different Engineers scored in a first period that concluded with RPI leading 11-1. The Engineers attempted 26 more shots than the visiting Falcons on the night.
Looking forward, RPI flips around to face Vassar in a 2:00 pm matchup in ECAV Stadium. Tomorrow marks the RPI women's program's LaCrosse Out Cancer game in support of the Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation.
