Sedlacek Strikes with 97 Seconds Remaining to Give RPI 1-0 Win at Plattsburgh

PLATTSBURGH, N.Y.- The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) women's soccer team scored with less than two minutes remaining to earn 1-0 victory at Plattsburgh tonight.

Sarah Sedlacek netted the game-winning goal with 97 seconds remaining to help the Engineers improve their unbeaten streak to six consecutive contests. Micaela Ross provided the assist on the Sedlacek strike.

RPI tallied a 13-6 advantage in the shot column and owned all five shots on goal in the game. Sedlacek and Gwen Barnes each attempted a game-high three shots each.

The Engineers will look ahead to the start of Liberty League play, as RPI will head to St. Lawrence for a 3:00 pm meeting on Saturday afternoon.
