Men’s Hockey Travels to St. Lawrence

CANTON, NY- The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) men's hockey team was defeated 4-1 at St. Lawrence tonight.

The host Saints scored twice in the closing minutes of the first period before adding two more in the final frame.

Felix Caron pocketed the lone goal of the night for the Engineers, as he used assists from Will Gilson and Jake Gagnon to net a power-play strike in the third.

Isaac Tremblay had two goals and one assist to help St. Lawrence to the ECAC triumph.

The Engineers generated a 38-32 advantage in shots on goal, however Saints goaltender Dominic Basse turned away 37 attempts in net.

RPI will stay up north to challenge #19 Clarkson tomorrow at 7pm in Potsdam.
