TROY, NY- The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) women's ice hockey team hosted #7 Clarkson in Houston Field House this evening.

The Engineers scored the first goals of the night before Clarkson netted eight unanswered to earn the ECAC victory.

Audrey McCutheon provided a first period tally, while Andrea Trnkova and Morgann Skoda followed with power-play goals in the early minutes of the second period to stake the Engineers to the early 3-0 advantage.

Clarkson got on the board at 5:03 in the second to start what would be a five-goal period for the visitors.

Seven different Golden Knights registered multi-point efforts, with Rhea Hicks topping everyone with four points.

Nyah Philip, Michelle Nutescu, Nina Christof, Georgia Bailey, Ellie Kaiser, and Sophie Helgeson provided RPI with one assist apiece.

The Engineers will finish the weekend with a 3pm contest against #8 St. Lawrence tomorrow inside Houston Field House.
