TROY, NY - The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) women's ice hockey team suffered a 2-0 setback against No. 8 St. Lawrence this afternoon in Houston Field House.
St. Lawrence received a power-play goal from Kennedy Wilson at 15:08 in the first period, followed by an unassisted strike from Kiley Master late in the second.
Nina Cristof had a team-high five attempts on frame, as the Engineers held a 31-19 advantage in shots on goal. Sophie Helgeson, Audrey McCutheon, and Morgan Skoda put three shots on net each as well.
RPI next heads to Harvard for a 6:00 pm meeting in Cambridge, Mass. on Friday night.
