Keating Makes 38 Saves in 1-0 Shutout at Robert Morris

MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) women's hockey team defeated Robert Morris 1–0 this afternoon at the Clearview Arena.

After nearly 60 minutes of scoreless play, Goffredo broke through with just eight-tenths of a second remaining in the second period. The forward finished a scrum in front of the net following touches by Mia Montanari and Kendal Davidson.

Keating was stellar in net to earn her second shutout of the season. Keating turned away all 38 attempts from the Colonels, with 33 stops in the final two periods. The performance marked the second most saves this season for junior goaltender.

RPI will look to finish the weekend sweep with a 3:00 pm finale set for tomorrow afternoon against the Colonels.
