HANOVER, NH - The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) men's hockey team received two goals from
Jakob Lee in tonight's 2-1 ECAC triumph at Dartmouth.
Lee's first goal, which came halfway through the second period, gave RPI a 1-0 lead that lasted until the early moments of the third, when Dartmouth equalized with a Luke Hayms tally.
The 1-1 tie would hold until 13:38 in the final frame, when Lee netted the game-winner for the Engineers. Both of Lee's scores would feature assists from
John Beaton.
Noah Giesbrecht eclipsed 40 saves for the third time this winter, as the Engineers goaltender stopped 41 shots in the win.
Jack Agnew put his body in front of three Dartmouth shots, while
Elliott McDermott,
Max Smolinski,
Will Gilson, and
Jack Brackett blocked two chances each.
