Engineers Come Up Empty at Colgate

HAMILTON, NY- The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) men's hockey team dropped a 4-0 ECAC contest at Colgate tonight.

Colgate scored twice in the second and twice in the third to earn the league win. Tommy Bergsland netted two goals to propel the Raiders.

Andrew Takas made 31 saves in shut-out effort for Colgate. Jack Brackett topped RPI with five shots on goal.

The Engineers are back in Houston Field House next weekend for meetings with Princeton and Quinnipiac.
