TROY, NY- The #6 nationally-ranked Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) men's lacrosse team opened its 2025 campaign with a 26-7 victory versus Kean on Lower Renwyck Field this afternoon.

15 different Engineers notched goals in the win, with Easton Morse leading everyone with seven scores. Zach Swanson and Tyler Ruffini netted three goals each, while Sean Smith rounded out the multi-goal efforts with two tallies.

Nolan Lawler, Michael Kline, Cooper Roman, Patrick Keegan, Sean Mullen, Owen Stesney, Dylan Slimak, Brendan Hampton, Ty Stanek, and Gavin Cousineau entered the scoring column as well for one goal each for RPI.

Morse finished with 11 points on the day, as he and Ruffini co-lead the Engineers with four assists each. Swanson and Erik Ojert provided two helpers apiece as well.

The Engineers will next face DeSales University in a 4:00 pm non-conference on Friday in Center Valley, PA.
