Engineers Close Regular Season Against Cornell

TROY, NY - The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) finished the regular season with a 6-0 defeat against #20 Cornell tonight in Houston Field House.

Six different players scored goals for the nationally-ranked Big Red.

Dovar Tinling led the Engineers with three shots on goal. Jimmy Goffredo, Max Smolinski, Gustavs Ozolins, Felix Caron, and Jakob Lee each put two attempts on frame.

Smolinski and Arvils Bergmanis blocked four shots apiece in the setback. Goffredo, Ozolins, Elliott McDermott, and Jack Agnew each logged two blocks.

The Engineers will look ahead to the opening round of the ECAC Tournament, with final results still pending regarding seeding and opponent.
