TROY, NY - The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) men's lacrosse scored early and often in today's 22-6 senior day win against Skidmore this afternoon.
The Engineers netted nine goals in the opening 15 minutes, and owned 15 of the first 16 goals scored on the day to earn the convincing Liberty League win.
Easton Morse had a game-high five goals, while
Tyler Ruffini led the team with seven points. Ruffini scored three times and dished out four of RPI's 16 assists, which marked the most in a game this spring for the Engineers.
Evan Whatley and
Sean Smith each had four points in the win. Whatley provided two goals and two helpers and Smith finished with one tally and three assists.
Cooper Roman registered three points thanks to two goals and one assist.
Erik Ojert produced three points as well on a goal and two apples.
Zach Swanson rounded out the multi-point efforts with one goal and one assist.

Patrick Keegan,
Drew Teff,
Ryan Sweet,
Jackson Massaroni, and
Gavin Cousineau all added one goal each, and
Cooper Manzi,
Angelo Venuto, and
Teag Hilkewich assisted on one score apiece in the team victory.
The Engineers will look ahead to next Saturday's regular season finale, which will see RPI travel north to face St. Lawrence at 1:00 pm.
