Baseball Travels to Middlebury

MIDDLEBURY, VT- The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) baseball team fell 12-2 at Middlebury tonight.

Alex Coombes drove in Ian Oehlschlaeger and Ayush Krishnappa with a single the top of the first to account for the RPI runs.

After the Engineers took the early 2-0 lead, the Panthers scored the final 12 runs of the evening to earn the non-conference win.

Aidan Hicks, Cam Hawley, Kameron Levesque, Oehlschlaeger, and Krishnappa added one hit apiece for the Engineers.

Dutch Hamilton, Andrew Gaughan, and Sam Kuss all registered a scoreless outing out of the RPI bullpen.

The Engineers will next prepare for this weekend's Liberty League crossover series against RIT.
