TROY, N.Y. – The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) men's lacrosse team had five student-athletes recognized as 2025 USA Lacrosse Division III All-Americans, tying a program record for the most honorees in a single season. The Engineers were one of just six programs nationally to have five or more selections.

Leading the way was junior goaltender Joseph Perry, who earned First Team All-America honors for the second straight year following a standout season between the pipes. The Liberty League Defensive Player of the Year, Perry posted a 14-3 record and led the conference in goals against average (7.45) while ranking second in save percentage (.593). He finished the season with 172 saves across 948 minutes and added three goals, one assist, 47 ground balls, and 24 caused turnovers. Nationally, he ranked fourth in GAA and 16th in save percentage.

Joining Perry on the All-America list was senior Gavin Cousineau, named to the Second Team as a short stick defensive midfielder. A two-way force, Cousineau contributed eight goals and three assists while collecting 29 ground balls and causing 10 turnovers.

The senior trio of Angelo Venuto, Zach Swanson, and Nick Biava also received All-America accoldaes. Venuto was named to the third team after topping in the Liberty League in both ground balls (169) and faceoff win percentage (.675). Swanson totaled 35 points on 22 goals and 13 assists and Biava ranked among the league leaders with 25 caused turnovers and 33 ground balls as both were including on the honorable mention list.
