RPI Wraps Series at Holy Cross

WORCESTER, Mass. – The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) women's hockey team battled through three periods of pressure but was unable to break through in today's a 3–0 setback at Holy Cross.

RPI generated 22 shots on goal, led by Nina Christof and Kendal Davidson, who combined for seven attempts. Christof paced the Engineers with four total shots, tying for the game high, while adding two blocked shots at the other end. Davidson contributed three shots and two blocks, anchoring the blue line in both ends of the ice.

Up front, Kyley Toye and Molly Hamilton each registered two shots, while Sabrina Beaudoin and Georgia Bailey provided a strong presence in the faceoff circle.

Michaela Littlewood chipped in defensively with a team-high four blocked shots. Aylah Cioffi had two blocks and Sophia Jones, Victoria Savage, Taryn Rathwell, Brianna Livingstone, Alexis Brunet, Toye, and Bailey each put their body in the way of shots.

Reese Keating turned aside 30 shots in net, including 13 in the third period as the Crusaders continued to press. Keating stood tall against multiple power-play chances, highlighted by a penalty kill midway through the third where she recorded several key stops to keep the Engineers alive.

Holy Cross netted two goals in the first period and added an insurance marker in the third, with Ella Malloy, Alexia Moreau, and Reghan Chadwick providing the scoring for the hosts.

RPI will return home to host Sacred Heart on Friday at 5:00 pm in Houston Field House.
