RPI Unable to Contain Yale

TROY, N.Y. – The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) men's ice hockey team was defeated 8–3 by Yale tonight in ECAC Hockey action at Houston Field House.

Luciano Wilson, Filip Sitar, and Jagger Tapper accounted for the Engineers' goals, as RPI played to a balanced 32-31 shot count against the visiting Bulldogs.

Despite the deficit, RPI continued to push offensively, with Matthew Buckley, Kazimier Sobieski, and Ethan Bono generating chances around the crease and from the point.
