TROY, N.Y. – The SUNY New Paltz women's tennis team won two of three doubles matches and captured four of six singles flights enroute to a 6-3 victory over Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) on Saturday at Sharp Courts. The Hawks improve to 8-1 on the season, while the Engineers fall to 1-1.

Hawks' freshman Montana Wilson (Hopewell Junction, NY/John Jay) claimed victory in second singles and, along with partner Kayla DiPaulo (Liverpool, NY/Liverpool), was victorious at the second doubles flight.

Rensselaer returns to the courts on Tuesday when it hosts Hamilton at Sharp Courts (4pm). New Paltz is in action on Friday and Saturday at the ITA's, hosted by William Smith.
