POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. - Goals from nine different players saw the Rensselaer women's lacrosse team roll past Vassar, 18-7 in Liberty League action on Saturday. With the win, the Engineers move to 6-4 on the season and improve to 2-2 in conference play. The Brewers are now 4-6 overall and 0-4 in the Liberty League.

Emma Albert notched their first goals of the season to give RPI the slim 4-3 advantage with 18:58 left on the clock.
The Brewers continued to pressure as Elizabeth Feltch and Moe Bryne each scored their second of the contest to make it a 5-4 lead, but it would be the last advantage Vassar would have as Rensselaer scored six goals over the final 8:47 to take a 10-6 lead into halftime. Alissa Peterson.
The Engineers kept up the momentum in the second half as Peterson scored at 28:27 to push it to 11-6. Vassar's Feltch tallied her third of the game less than two minutes later, but the visitors continued to roll with seven straight goals to seal up the 18-7 victory. For the Brewers, Feltch finished with three goals, while Byrne added two tallies and two assists. In goal, Heather Kesselman made five stops in the loss over 30 minutes, while Nicole Engelhardt stopped one shot in relief in the second half.
The Engineers are back in action on next weekend as they welcome St. Lawrence and Clarkson to Renwyck Field on Friday (4pm) and Saturday (2pm), respectively. The Brewers will host Western Connecticut State on Tuesday (4:30pm).
