CANTON, N.Y. – The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) women's tennis team shouldered an 8-1 loss on the road at St. Lawrence on Sunday. The Engineers slip to 10-3 on the season, while the Saints – who are ranked #16 in the Northeast Region – improve to 11-2 overall.
St. Lawrence took advantage in the singles matches, sweeping all six flights to seal the victory. RPI rookie
Jessica Buckley (Whitesboro, NY/Notre Dame Jr.-Sr.) had one of the strongest showings on the afternoon for the Engineers. She fought to a 6-7 (3), 6-1, (10-5) loss in the sixth flight against SLU's Anna Young.

Brianna Dickie (Acton, MA/Acton Regional) battled to an 8-4 victory in the third flight.
