2012-13 W. Tennis Schedule

HILTON HEAD, S.C. - Rensselaer got singles wins from the third, fourth and sixth flights but the Engineers dropped three close matches in losing to Ithaca, 6-3. 

Freshman Emily Laurilliard (Niskayuna, NY / Niskayuna) was victorious at third singles, Amanda Alexander won at fourth singles and Emily Aaldenberg (West Chester, PA / West Chester B. Reed Henderson) earned a win at six, but it was not enough. Among the six losses for the Engineers was a tie-break defeat at third doubles and close losses at second and fifth singles. 

RPI falls to 6-2 on the season, while the Bombers, who won the Empire 8 last season, are now 14-1.

2. Laurel Salladay & Marni Blumenthal (Ithaca) defeated Jessica Buckley & Emily Laurilliard: 8-5
