TROY, N.Y. - The Rensselaer women's tennis team won all six singles matches after taking two of the three doubles for an 8-1 win over Oneonta State at Sharp Courts. The Engineers, who are regionally ranked, improve to 9-3 overall, including 5-2 in the spring. The Red Dragons fall to 10-10 with a 2-5 mark in 2013.
The second doubles team of
Jessica Buckley (Whitesboro, NY / Notre Dame Jr.-Sr.) and
Emily Laurilliard (Niskayuna, NY / Niskayuna) posted an 8-1 win before Laurilliard prevailed in second singles, 6-4, 6-1. Junior
Christina Ciamarra (Southington, CT / Newtown) and freshman
Kelsey Ham (Moorestown, NJ / Moorestown) also posted two wins. They combined for an 8-2 victory at third doubles before Ciammara won at third singles, 6-1, 6-0, and Ham in the sixth flight, 6-2, 6-0.
Oneonta's victory came in first doubles, 8-3, behind senior Danielle Browarski (Colonie, NY / Colonie) and sophomore Brynn Sussman (Highland Mills / Monroe-Woodbury).

Rensselaer is back on the court on Sunday afternoon against Bard (2pm). Oneonta plays next on Wednesday against Union (4pm).
