Liberty League Tournament Site
ROCHESTER, N.Y. - The Rensselaer women's tennis team saw its season come to an end in the first round of the Liberty League Tournament with a 5-2 loss to William Smith College. RPI, the fifth seed, concludes with a 13-5 record, while the fourth-seeded Herons are now 12-6. They advance to play top-seeded Skidmore on Saturday at 10am.
Rensselaer opened with a pair of wins in the doubles competition as 
Casey Olsen and 
Amanda Alexander won at No. 1, 8-5, and 
Kelsey Ham and 
Christina Ciamarra captured No. 3, 8-2. William Smith bounced back and won at first, fourth, fifth - in three sets - and sixth singles for the victory.
