With the win, the Bullets improve to 3-0, while the Engineers drop to 0-2.
Gettysburg scored twice in the opening five minutes to take open the scoring. RPI junior

The teams then traded goals until the 14:58 mark of the half, when the Bullets ran off three straight goals, including one from Baigelman (Larchmont, NY/Mamroneck), to take a 7-3 lead with 5:20 left in the stanza. Sophmore
Erin DeLucca (East Lyme, CT/East Lyme) ended the run with her first goal of the year, but Gettysburg's Bridget Kenny (Gladstone, NJ/Bernards) made it 8-4 at the half.
The Bullets kept RPI at bay throughout the second half. They answered Wakefield's opening tally with a pair of goals to take a 10-5 lead. Junior
Lauren Miller (North Andover, MA/North Andover) made it a four-goal game (10-6) again, but Baigelman and Kelsey Markiewicz (Taconic, CT/Berkshire School) came right back with goals, less than a minute apart, to go up 12-6, with less than 10 minutes to play.
Rensselaer scored three of the next four goals, including senior
Rachel Scofield's (Albany, NY/Colonie) first of the year, to draw to within 13-9. Markiewicz capped the scoring, with her fourth of the contest.
