ORLANDO, Fla. - The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) women's tennis team closed its Spring Break trip with a match against Wesleyan University and lost to the Cardinals, 9-0. Rensselaer, which is ranked 15th in the Northeast Region, is now 7-2, while Wesleyan, 17th-ranked in the region, is 3-3.
Sophomore
Emily Aaldenberg (West Chester, PA / West Chester B. Reed Henderson), at No. 6 singles, had Rensselaer's best opportunity to notch a point, but she ultimately lost in three sets, 6-4, 4-6, 10-7.Â
RPI is scheduled to be back on the court on Saturday against Liberty League foe St. Lawrence University.
