POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. - Vassar College, the 25th-ranked team in the nation, captured all three doubles matches before winning all six singles matches in defeating the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) women's tennis team, 9-0. The Brewers, who are 10th in the Northeast Region, improve to 7-3, while the Engineers, who are are ranked 16th in the region, fall to 7-4.

RPI's best opportunity to capture a match came at No. 2 singles, but senior Christina Ciamarra fell in a third-set tie-break, 10-7. 

Rensselaer returns to the court on April 12 when it travels to William Smith College for a 2pm match.
