RPI FALLS AT ST. LAWRENCE: Kiera Taussig scored four goals to lead St. Lawrence to a 9-7 win over Rensselaer last Saturday ... Taussig scored three of her four goals in the first half ... She got St. Lawrence on board first, scoring an unassisted tally just two minutes into play ... Jamie Wakefield, who also scored four goals for RPI, tied the game with an unassisted tally, less than a minute later ... Taussig responded for the Saints in the following minute of play to put St. Lawrence back on top ... The Saints then took a 3-1 lead at 26:09, as Kara Hurley tallied ... Wakefield and Taussig combined for the next three goals of the half ... Wakefield scored first for RPI to pull the Engineers back to within one goal at 24:05, before Taussig netted an unassisted score at 19:32 to keep the Saints ahead by two scores .. Wakefield converted the final goal of the half at 17:54, putting Rensselaer down one goal, 4-3, at the halftime break ... Taussig and Wakefield both wrapped up their respective scoring to start the second half ... St. Lawrence pushed their lead to two goals at 20:51 with Taussig's last goal of the day, but Wakefield immediately responded after the Engineers came away with a draw control win, scoring an unassisted tally at 20:13 ... RPI tied the game at 5-5 with an unassisted goal by Sara Bischof at 17:27 ... St. Lawrence responded with the game's next two scores, putting the Saints ahead, 7-5, with 12:08 to play ... Jacquline Sovie and Chloe Knapp scored those goals for the Saints ... With 10:09 left to play, Sophie Hager assisted Erin Riley to pull Rensselaer back to within one, 7-5, but Abigail Owens scored back-to-back goals for the Saints to put St. Lawrence ahead, 9-6, with just over two minutes to play ... Riley repaid Hager with an assist late, but St. Lawrence held RPI off for the remainder of the game.

RPI LEADERS: Sophomore Sophie Hager leads the Engineers with 35 points on 12 goals and a team-best 23 assists ... Senior Erin Riley (19 goals, 10 assists) is second with 29 points, while graduate student Meg Colitz (21 goals, 4 assists) rounds out the top three scorers with 25 points ... Senior Jamie Wakefield (14 goals, 1 assist) has a team-high 25 ground balls to go along with 22 draw controls ... Riley has a team-best 14 caused turnovers, while classmate Lydia Wolter is second with 12.

RPI GOALTENDING: Senior captain Erin Amarello (4-5) has a 9.39 goals against average and a .453 save percentage as the starter in nine of 10 games this season.

CLOSING IN THE CENTURY MARK: Senior midfielder Jamie Wakefield is one goal shy of 100 for her collegiate career.

FOR THE YELLOWJACKETS: Winners of three games in a row, the Yellowjackets are led offensively by sophomore Jamie Wallisch, who has 32 goals and 16 assists for 48 points ... Senior Lauren Basil (24 goals, 8 assists) is second with 32 points, while sophomore Mara Karpp (11 goals, 18 assists) rounds out the top three scorers with 29 points ... Junior Maire Prosak is 8-5 between the pipes for Rochester, carrying a 7.88 goals against average and a .413 save percentage.

2014 VS. ROCHESTER: Meg Colitz scored eight goals and added an assist to lead the Engineers to a 12-4 win over Rochester on April 12, 2014 ... RPI held a narrow 5-4 lead at halftime, as the Yellowjackets received tallies from four different players in the opening 30 minutes ... Colitz then went on to net all seven goals in the second half to put the game away ... Erin Riley had three goals and two assist for RPI, while Jamie Wakefield had a goal and an assist ... In goal, Erin Amarello made eight saves for Rensselaer, while Maire Prosak stopped seven at the other end of the field.
