ENGINEERS HAVE SUCCESS IN FLORIDA: RPI posted a 9-3 record during its Spring Break trip to Florida ... The Engineers won eight straight games during the week, including one-run victories over Stockton (6-5), Geneseo (4-3), Plymouth State (1-0) and Smith (6-5).

RPI SPLITS AT NEW PALTZ: The Engineers were in action on Tuesday, taking one of two games at SUNY New Paltz ... The Hawks won game 3-0 on the strength of a complete game shutout by Katie Rutcofsky, who allowed six hits over 7.0 innings ... In Game 2, RPI broke out the bats, clobbering 15 hits, including three each from Devan Puhl (3 for 4), Taylor Ten Eyck (3 for 4) and Stephanie Caudle (3 for 4) ... Morgan Ten Eyck went 2 for 3 with a team-high three runs batted in, as the Engineers took home an 8-2 win.
