Classmate Stephanie Caudle and senior Victoria Hepworth each threw complete game shutouts for RPI ... Caudle also went 5 for 7 at the plate with a run and an RBI.

UTICA SWEEPS ELMIRA: The Pioneers won a wild Game 1 against Elmira on Saturday, scoring five runs in the bottom of the 8th to win in extras, 9-7 ... Samatha Sanky homered with two aboard for the decisive blow ... In Game 2, Utica posted a pair of three-run innings in topping the Soaring Eagles, 7-2 ... Abby Monroe went all 7.0 innings for the win, allowing two unearned runs on four hits.
