ORLANDO, Fla. - Sophomore
Erica Frommer won at No. 1 doubles and No. 2 singles to help the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) women's tennis team snap a five-match losing streak with an 8-1 victory over Ithaca College. The Engineers improve to 3-5 on the season, while the Bombers drop to 10-3.
Playing singles first, the Engineers jumped out to a 2-0 lead and then held a 4-0 lead when Frommer won her match in a third set tiebreak, 6-3, 2-6, 10-3. Another third set win, this one a come-from-behind effort by freshman
Tess Lubin at No. 3 (6-7 (6), 6-3, 10-8), clinched the win for RPI.

Allie Kallish helped RPI to a 6-1 lead by winning at No. 1, 8-3. Lubin and
Andrea Valencia were victorious at No. 2, 8-2.
RPI returns to action on Friday at 8am against Shreiner University.
