HOME FOR TWO
Rensselaer opens up a two-game homestand on Wednesday night, when it hosts Williams College at East Campus Stadium (7:30pm). The Engineers then welcome Potsdam to Troy on Saturday (4pm).
ALL-TIME VS. THE EPHS
Williams owns a 23-15-2 lead in the all-time series, which dates back to October 1, 1922. The match that day, which was won by the Engineers, 4-2, is the first recorded men's soccer game in school history.
RECENTLY
RPI is just 1-14-1 in the last 16 meetings, dating back to September of 1982. The Engineers lone victory in that stretch came on October 23, 2013 – a 3-2 victory at ECAV. While Williams is 5-1-1 since 2009, six of the seven games have been decided by one goal of fewer, including back-to-back 1-0 decisions in favor of the Ephs in 2015 and 2016.
2016 VS. WILLIAMS
The Ephs got a 72nd minute goal from Mohammed Rashid in defeating Rensselaer, 1-0, in Williamstown. Outshooting RPI, 17-4, Williams also won eight corners to just one for the Engineers.
Ryan Nealon finished with three saves between the sticks.
ENGINEERS EDGED BY ONEONTA
Roberto Ventura broke a 1-1 deadlock in the 83rd minute to give 14th-ranked Oneonta a 2-1 win over RPI on Saturday afternooon. The Engineers scored first and a goal by
Dillon Ashong in the 16th minute. The Red Dragons tied it up not long after halftime.
HOME FIELD ADVANTAGE
With its two home victories to start 2017, the Engineers have extend their home unbeaten streak to eight games (6-0-2). RPI's last home defeat came on October 24, 2015 against Vassar (2-1).

WILLIAMS TOP TRINITY (CT)
Williams scored the first two goals and held on for a 2-1 over the Bantams on Friday. Sean Dory (34th) and Eli Petrik (41st) tallied for the Ephs, while Henry Belt (87th) picked up the late Trinity marker. Bobby Schneiderman (1-0) picked up the win in goal for Williams, recording three stops.
