SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. - The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) women's tennis team dropped each of the three doubles matches by 8-3 scores to 20th-ranked Skidmore College and the homestanding Thoroughbreds won each of the six singles matches in straight sets for a 9-0 victory over the Engineers.

The match was the first Liberty League contests for both teams. Skidmore improves to 1-0 overall, while RPI falls to 1-1. Rensselaer returns to the court on Saturday at 11am against SUNY Geneseo at Sharp Courts in Troy.
