Chused Hits NCAA Regional Mark Against Union

TROY, NY - The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute's (RPI) men's swimming and diving upended rival Union College 163-77 Friday night.

In conjunction with senior night, Reilly Keating-Wood and Spencer Marquardt were recognized for their contributions to the Rensselaer swimming and diving program.

Junior Alex Chused paced the Engineer divers with his first NCAA regional cut score of 280.25 in the 1 mtr dive. Meanwhile, Union's Sam Hoyt swept both the 1 mtr and 3 mtr dives with new pool records of 348.45 and 370.25, respectively. The senior broke RPI's Matt Culen's pool records from 2009.
