TROY, N.Y. - Rensselaer softball is gearing up kick off the 2018 season in Florida on Mar. 9 against Penn State-Behrend and Wheaton College (Ill.).

The Engineers are coming off their fifth Liberty League title under the direction of Head Coach Amber Maisonet. RPI advanced to the NCAA Division III Regional Final for the first time since joining the Liberty League in 2005.

Rensselaer returns 14 from last season including Liberty League-All Conference players Devan Puhl, Cam Caswell, Victoria Greco and Rebecca Kienz. Additionally, Puhl was also selected as a NFCA All-Region and CoSIDA Academic All-America Selection. The Engineers add four new comers to round out their 2018 roster.

RPI will be playing in Florida from Mar. 9-15 and will return for five road series before hosting SUNY-Geneseo at home on Apr. 10 at 3pm.
