TROY, N.Y. - The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) women's tennis team hosts Vassar College and Ithaca College in a pair of Liberty League matches at Tri City Fitness in Latham. The Engineers take on the Brewers on Saturday at 2pm and the Bombers on Sunday at 1pm.

RPI, which last played on March 31, return to the court with an 8-4 overall record and a 1-3 league mark. It is currently in seventh place in the conference standings.

Saturday's foe, Vassar, is 11-3 overall and 5-0 in the league and ranked No. 30 in the latest Oracle/ITA Division III Women's Rankings. The Brewers, who have won four straight, defeating Rensselaer, 7-2, last season behind six wins in singles.

The Engineers had better success against Ithaca a year ago, defeating the Bombers, 8-1, in Florida. The contest, which saw RPI jump out to a 3-0 lead through doubles, was a non-league match.

This is the first season Ithaca is a member of the Liberty League. The Bombers, who are 3-8 overall and 1-5 in the conference, are in eighth place.
