MEET TIME (Feb. 2, 2019): The Engineers host their final dual meet of the 2018-19 campaign with Hamilton College visiting Robison Pool (1pm).

REGIONALLY-RANKED: In the latest College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America regional rankings, Rensselaer's men are eighth in the Northeast North and the women are 10th.

SENIOR DAY: The Engineers will honor and thank its 11 seniors prior to the meet ... They are John Alberta, Charly Blazy, Matthew Dineen, Caitlyn Gardiner, Thomas Macaluso, Everett McNair, Noah Pan, Jesse Rotering, Alexander Sullivan, Amanda Wang & Ayla Yagan.

SENIOR SUCCESS: In the seven academic terms during their careers, the seniors on the women's team have helped RPI to an average grade point average of 3.401 ... The men boast an average of 3.117.

CURRICULUM: Eight of the seniors are engineering majors (2 mechanical, 2 chemical, 2 biomedical, 1 electrical, 1 computer & systems) ... One is studying biology and one is a computer science major.

SENIOR SUCCESS II: In its nearly four years of competition, the Class of 2019 has helped the Engineers post dual meet records of 28-2 (women) and 28-1 (men), respectively.

SENIOR SUCCESS III: In the past three years, RPI has won three men's Liberty League Championships and one women's, which was the first in school history ... This year's championship is in mid-February.

SENIOR SUCCESS IV: Both Engineers squads were runner-ups in the 15-school New York State Championship Meets in both 2015-16 and 2016-17 before it was discontinued.

SINCERE APPRECIATION: Thank you to John, Charly, Matt, Caitlyn, Thomas, Everett, Noah, Jesse, Alexander, Amanda and Ayla for all the time, effort and dedication made to the swimming & diving programs!

THIS SEASON: RPI's men are 6-0 in dual meets, while the women are 5-1, including a five-meet winning streak ... Hamilton's women are 3-5, while the men are 2-6.

COMMON OPPONENTS: Both the Engineers and the Continentals have had head-to-head meets with RIT and Union ... RPI went 3-1, while Hamilton went 1-3.

LAST SEASON: Rensselaer's men featured eight individual winners in a 226-71 victory over Hamilton on February 3 in Clinton, N.Y. ... Shanny Lin broke the Bristol Pool record in the 200 butterfly and RPI's women defeated the Continentals, 215-83.

LAST SATURDAY: The Engineers men posted a 185-75 win over Skidmore, while the women beat the Thoroughbreds, 193-98.
