ENGINEERS SOLID IN 2018
RPI is coming of its first winning season since 2013, going 9-6-1 last year, including 6-4 in Liberty League play. The Engineers were led offensively by
Maddy Aslansan, who had 38 goals and nine assists for 47 points.
Abbey Salvon (27 goals, 4 assists) had 31 points, while
Allie Claroni (17 goals, 12 assists) had 29. RPI advanced to the conference semifinals, where they fell to eventual league champion William Smith.
RETURNING GOALTENDING
The Engineers welcome back starting netminder
Aleena Milinski, went 9-6-1 with a 9.51 goals against average and a .532 save percentage in 2018.
ALL-TIME VS. ONEONTA
RPI leads the all-time series with Oneonta, 11-9-1, dating back to the first ever meeting on April 2, 1992 – a 9-5 Red Dragons win in Oneonta. The 14-14 tie last year was the first draw in RPI women's lacrosse history.

Rensselaer is 7-2-1 in the last 10 meetings, including a current four-game unbeaten streak, which dates back to March 5, 2015.

The Engineers came back from a 7-2 halftime deficit to earn a 14-14 tie in last season's opener in Oneonta.
Michelle Bolger has four goals, while
Lauren Guiry had three goals and one assist to pace RPI. Taylor Casey (4 goals) and Jaime Morris (4 assists) each had four points for the hosts.
Aleena Milinski finished with nine saves for the Engineers, with Lexi Keen stopping eight for the Red Dragons.
PACING THE RED DRAGONS
Taylor Casey (59 goals, 17 assists) had a team-high 76 points last season, while Kelsey Cohen (42 goals, 12 assists) had 54. Sophia Calabrese (41 goals, 11 assists) rounded out the top three from a season ago with 52 points.
ONEONTA GOALTENDING
Lexi Keen went 6-7 with a 11.95 goals against average and a .458 save percentage in 14 starts last season, while Jaclyn Marry was 3-0 with a 10.95 goals against average and a .416 save percentage.

The Engineers travel to Hilton Head, South Carolina for a pair of non-league games against Muhlenberg College and Bridgewater College on Monday and Wednesday next week.
