TROY, N.Y. - The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) women's tennis team returns from a two-week break from matches to host Liberty League foe RIT on Saturday morning at Tri-City Fitness in Latham.
The Engineers are 6-5 overall with the match against the Tigers their first in conference action. RIT is 5-3 with a 2-1 league mark.
In last season's matchup, Rensselaer won once in doubles and once in singles, but lost the match 7-2.
Nisha Rajamohan and
Andrea Valencia won at No. 3 doubles, 8-3, and
Tess Lubin captured a point at No. 2 singles, 6-3, 1-6, 6-3, for RPI. Amelia Ying had two wins, including No. 1 doubles with Shayna Ginsler (8-4) and No. 1 singles (6-0, 6-1) for the Tigers.
