ORLANDO, Fla. - Four student-athletes had wins in both doubles and singles as the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) women's tennis team defeated Midway University of Kentucky 9-0 in a match while on Spring Break. The win is the third straight for the Engineers, who are now 5-2 on the season. The Eagles drop to 6-4.
After sweeping the doubles, Rensselaer saw Sanjana Surapaneni (No. 1),Â
Andrea Valencia (No. 3),
Nisha Rajamohan (No. 4) and
Jolee McCluskey (No. 5) all pick up singles victories for 2-0 individual records on the evening. None of the four lost more than three games.
