RPI TOPS RIT ON THE ROAD
The Engineers took advantage of a non-releasable yellow card in the second half to score the game's final five goals in a 13-8 victory at RIT on Saturday in Rochester. Senior
Maddy Aslansan broke out for five points on four goals and one assist, while three others had three points, including classmates
Abbey Salvon (2 goals, 1 assist) and
Lauren Guiry (2 goals, 1 assist). Senior goaltender
Aleena Milinski made 17 saves.
ALL-TIME VS. SKIDMORE
RPI leads the all-time series with the Thoroughbreds 16-13, including a 9-7 mark at home. Skidmore took home a 12-3 victory in the inaugural meeting on April 28, 1992, in Troy.
RECENTLY
The Engineers eight-game winning streak in the series was snapped in 2016 and now the Thoroughbreds have won three in a row, including a 9-7 victory last year.
