Sebastian Castillo-Sanchez and sophomore
Andrew Imrie both had two wins to lead the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) men's tennis team to a 5-4 victory over Vassar College in a Liberty League contest played indoors at Walker Field House. The Engineers, who are ranked No. 35 in the nation, improve to 6-6 overall and 4-1 in the league, while Vassar falls to 7-7 and 3-3.
Castillo-Sanchez and Imrie played No. 1 doubles together and captured that match, 8-4. Then at No. 1 and No. 2 singles, respectively, they posted victories of 6-1, 6-2 and 6-3, 6-3. Sophomore
Brian Niguidula also had a singles win, 6-2, 7-5, at No. 3, while
Zack Ebenfeld and
Dylan Payne partnered up to win at No. 3 doubles, 8-7 (4)
