GENEVA, N.Y. - Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) student-athletes Rani Jones and Alex Mednikova both played in the third round of the ITA Northeast Regional Women's Tennis Tournament, but neither advanced to the quarterfinals.

Jones faced Judy Kam of NYU on Sunday morning and lost 6-4, 6-3 after winning a pair of matches on Saturday. The same was true for Mednikova, who lost in the third round to Dea Koiava of Skidmore 7-5, 6-4.

Rensselaer returns to dual match action on Wednesday at Oneonta (3:45pm) before starting Liberty League play with a match at Skidmore on Friday (5pm).
