Box Score ROCHESTER, N.Y. - Four student-athletes had two wins apiece as the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) women's tennis team won its first match of the spring semester 9-0 at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). The Engineers are now 4-1 overall and 1-1 in the Liberty League, while the Tigers are 0-2 and 0-2.

RPI's top doubles team of Alex Mednikova and Lorna Flores Gonzalez got things off to a solid start with an 8-0 victory to give the visitors a 1-0 lead. The No. 2 squad of Krisia Flores Gonzalez and Nitya Subramaniam won 8-4 and the tandem of Brooke Bauer and Sonya Khudyakov concluded the doubles portion with an 8-6 win.

Singles was much the same as Rensselaer did not drop a set.
