TROY, N.Y. – The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) men's swimming team put together a solid Sunday afternoon at Robison Pool, as the Engineers defeated both The College of Saint Rose (132-90) and SUNY Oneonta (166.5-47.5).
Leading the way was a big day from
Dan Savidge, as he collected two first-place wins. He put up a win in the 400 Individual Medley with a time of 4:17.63 and a victory in the 200-meter breaststroke with a time of 2:14.38.
Ethan Gadbois also had a strong day, finishing first in the men's 500 freestyle, second in the men's 1,000 freestyle, and third as part of the 400 freestyle relay team.
Wrapping up the notable performances was
Sam Ciegler, as he came in with a first-place finish as part of the 400 freestyle relay team, and a second-place finish in the 400 individual medley and 200 backstroke.
The Engineers return to action next week on Saturday, Nov. 11 when they face-off at Vassar in a dual meet.
